I have found that my best work comes from post-conceptualization. More ideas spring from the prompts I give myself than when I set out to make a specific idea come to life. I always thought this was a lazy way to do it, but couldn't find another way. Is it safe to say that this is how my brain works? I am my most creative when I dwell on it afterward, letting the elements of the photograph soak for a while. Does anyone else work this way?

Something that bothers me about some of my stand-alone images is that I often feel as though they could become something more, such as a series. I don't know if I'll ever have time to go back though, as I am constantly producing more work. I could use more time to develop. Now I just need to figure out how to make that time for myself.
