I have found that my best work comes from post-conceptualization. More ideas spring from the prompts I give myself than when I set out to make a specific idea come to life. I always thought this was a lazy way to do it, but couldn't find another way. Is it safe to say that this is how my brain works? Hello all. Sorry for the infrequent uploads lately. There are so many files on my desktop... need to edit them down as they're piling up fast. I'll catch up on uploading by early this summer. I have been a lazy photographer. It's no good, no good at all. This summer I will have all the time in the world (or so it will seem, at first), it's just a matter of motivating myself to make something fantastic. I've produced some nice photographs indeed, but I have yet to impress myself. So I'm in school now, which means probable busyness, but I have lots of new works to upload from the summer. Expect some of that soon. It's kinda lame that the 1st year Photo Arts classes have been switched to digital, but the work that I do on my own will still be mostly film. I live in Photo House at my school, so I have a darkroom at my disposal. There's also a place to get my color film developed on-campus. Woooo.
